Job summary

Toad Hall Nursery is inviting applications for a Modern Apprentice in Early Years. You will train alongside experienced childcare staff while working towards a Level 3 qualification in Early Years. The role supports children’s learning and development in a hands-on nursery setting.

You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with 20% of your time allocated to off-the-job learning. No previous childcare experience is required.

Qualifications

• No previous childcare experience required; transferable skills from other roles and life experience welcomed.
• Full training and support will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support children with daily routines such as meals, playtime, naps, and personal care
• Follow nursery policies, safeguarding procedures, and health & safety guidance
• Demonstrate interest in child development and learning
• Contribute to a safe, nurturing and engaging nursery environment
