Job summary

AWD online is seeking an Early Years Tutor to support apprentices across Suffolk, delivering teaching, coaching and assessment. You will manage a caseload, track progress and collaborate with employers to ensure knowledge, skills and behaviours meet standards.

The role involves regular workplace reviews, preparing learners for End-Point Assessment and maintaining learner records, with funded assessor development for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Level 3+ qualification in Early Years (essential).
• Recent industry experience within an Early Years setting.
• Experience of teaching, mentoring, coaching or supporting the development of others.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with apprentices and employers.
• Excellent organisational and digital skills, with the ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines.
• Full Driver’s licence.
• Pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Learner caseload management to keep learners engaged and on track.
• Deliver high-quality teaching, coaching and assessment for Early Years standards.
• Carry out workplace reviews and assessments with apprentices and employers.
• Design tailored learning activities to support progress and achievement.
• Build strong relationships with employers to support programme quality and recruitment.
• Prepare apprentices for End-Point Assessment and ensure accurate records.

Education

Level 3+ qualification in Early Years

Assessor qualification such as A1, CAVA or equivalent

Teaching qualification or experience tutoring or mentoring
