Job summary

South Lanarkshire Council is recruiting a Team Leader for the Early Years Team at Coalburn Primary Nursery Class. You will lead staff, deliver high-quality, child-centred provision and partner with colleagues to develop engaging early years learning experiences for children and families.

The role requires safeguarding, PVG clearance and ongoing professional development within a supportive council framework.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an early years team and supporting staff.
• Knowledge of the early years curriculum and planning for young children.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and registration requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate staff to nurture children and create stimulating learning opportunities.
• Support, guide and develop the early years team to deliver high quality, child-centred provision.
• Work in partnership to plan and deliver effective Early Years programmes.
