Renfrewshire Council is seeking an enthusiastic Early Learning & Childcare Officer to join our team. The role focuses on creating a safe, caring and stimulating nursery environment for all children and delivering a curriculum aligned with national and local guidance.

The post requires experience in early learning settings, knowledge of child development and the ability to plan and implement inclusive activities.

Qualifications

• Experience of working or training in an early learning and childcare setting.
• Awareness of assessment and documentation of children's learning as per national and local guidance.
• Ability to plan and deliver an inclusive curriculum.
• Knowledge of child development.
• Flexibility to meet the needs of the service.
• Hold a relevant practice qualification in early learning and childcare (HNC Childhood Practice or SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF level 7 or equivalent).

Responsabilités

• Contribute to a safe, caring and stimulating nursery environment for all children.
• Contribute and implement a curriculum in line with national and local guidance; plan and evaluate activities.
• Maintain and record children’s assessment progress and promote parental participation.
