Job summary

Reading Borough Council is seeking a Level 3 qualified Team Leader to join the Waterside Day Care team in Reading on a permanent, full‑time basis. The role involves being a keyworker for a group of children aged 3 months to 5 years and delivering high‑quality early years education in line with EYFS.

The post offers a 37-hour week with flexible shifts, a supportive environment, and access to extensive training, staff benefits, and safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• Be creative, dynamic and a good communicator.

• Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS and demonstrate a commitment to providing childcare in a non-discriminatory and inclusive manner.
• Have experience of working with babies and children from 3 months to 5 years.
