Job summary

Thorpe Hesley Primary School is seeking a caring Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our two-year-old provision. You will support a high-quality, play-based EYFS curriculum under the guidance of the Room Lead and EYFS Lead, helping children settle and thrive.

The role is part time (26 hours per week, 38 weeks + 2 inset days) starting ASAP, with interviews on 29 September 2026. Experience in early years, safeguarding commitment and good teamwork are essential; we offer a warm, supportive team

Qualifications

  • Experience in early years settings is essential.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork are required.

Responsibilities

Working under the guidance of the Room Lead and EYFS Lead, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality, play-based curriculum that supports the individual needs of our youngest learners.
