Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting for a qualified Teaching Assistant with EYFS experience to join a Reception support team in Sutton Coldfield, near Birmingham. The role is full-time and starts ASAP, focusing on strong EYFS knowledge and phonics support for early years learners.

You will need a Level 3+ Teaching Assistant qualification (NVQ/CACHE preferable), plus recent primary school experience and a track record of supporting pupils with SEND on a one-to-one basis.

Qualifications

• Level 3+ TA qualification or NVQ/CACHE preferable.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND on a one-to-one basis.
• Strong EYFS knowledge and KS1 curriculum.
• Recent primary school experience within the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Support Reception/ EYFS learners in phonics and early literacy activities.
• Assist class teacher with general classroom duties and safeguarding.
