Job Description:

Simply Education is seeking dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistants for the summer to support nursery schools. The roles involve assisting in the development and learning of young children through play-based activities and holistic development. Candidates should have experience in early childhood education, knowledge of the EYFS framework, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and implementing play-based learning activities.
  • Encourage social-emotional development and positive interactions among children.
  • Help develop children's fine and gross motor skills through engaging activities.
  • Support language acquisition and early literacy development.
  • Facilitate numeracy skills through age-appropriate activities.
  • Engage children in sensory and creative play.
  • Supervise outdoor learning activities ensuring safety.
  • Foster phonemic awareness and school readiness.
  • Provide support to children with diverse needs in an inclusive setting.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to support holistic development.
  • Monitor and record children’s progress through observation and assessment.
