Passionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant Wanted – September Start!

  • Position: L3Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire
  • Start Date: September 2025
  • Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
  • Contract Type: Full Time/Part Time

Role Overview:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and providing tailored support to students with varying needs. You will work closely with small groups and individual students to enhance their learning experience, ensuring they have the resources and encouragement they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, catering to individual learning needs
  • Help with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN), where applicable
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to the teacher
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages students to achieve their full potential
  • Liaise with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting, ideally within a primary school environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • A passion for supporting children’s learning and development
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices
  • An understanding of SEN and strategies for supporting diverse learners (desirable but not essential)
