TeacherActive Ltd. is seeking an ambitious Early Years Teaching Assistant to support a Primary School in Smethwick. You will assist with learning activities, care routines, and assessments while helping create a safe, inclusive setting for 0–5 year olds.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Supporting Teaching & Learning is essential.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate on update service or willingness to apply.
• First Aid qualification (training can be provided if not).
• Experience supporting EYFS-aged children (0–5 years).
• Two references from previous employers.

Responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher with learning activities, assessments, and care routines.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
• Promote early learning through play, exploration, and creativity.
