Job summary

The Federation of Rawcliffe Schools in Rawcliffe Bridge is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team. Applicants must have a full and relevant qualification as identified by the DfE and be prepared to start as soon as possible on a fixed-term basis.

The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Class Teacher, SENCO and other professionals to support pupils with educational, social and emotional development, promoting safeguarding and inclusive practice.

Qualifications

• Have a recognised Early Years qualification (Level 3 or above).
• Be passionate about supporting young children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
• Be able to build warm, positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Be committed to inclusive practice and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils by undertaking activities with other individuals or groups of pupils to enable access to the appropriate provision, ensuring their safety and well-being and to facilitate their physical, social and emotional and educational development.
• Duties will include working under the direction of the Class Teacher, SENCO and other professionals.
• Training and guidance as required will be provided by the relevant staff at the Federation.
