Job summary

Manor Green School in Maidenhead is seeking a Teaching Assistant for Early Years to support young learners as they build communication, independence and confidence through sensory play, creativity and shared activities. You will collaborate with teachers, therapists and families to create meaningful experiences and monitor each child’s development.

The role offers full-time term-time hours, a 35-hour week, and a supportive team committed to safeguarding, inclusion and ongoing professional

• Good levels of literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Support our youngest learners as they develop communication, independence, confidence and new skills.
• Engage in sensory activities, creativity, music, stories and outdoor play.
• Work closely with families, listening to them and collaborating to give each child the best possible support.
• Partner with teachers, teaching assistants, therapists and other professionals to create meaningful experiences for students.
• Help track progress and assist in creating engaging learning moments for Early Years pupils.
