Job summary

Tudhoe Moor Nursery School in Spennymoor is seeking a confident and motivated person to join our Early Years Team. The post is permanent, part-time from 8.30am to 4.15pm, with until 5.00pm on Wednesdays, aligned to term time plus two weeks.

The successful candidate will work with children aged 0–5, be a key worker for a group, and support inclusion. An enhanced DBS check is required; discuss any reasonable adjustments if needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working in Early Years with children who have additional needs.
• Ability to engage and support pupils aged 0–5 years.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly in English to colleagues, parents and the public.

Responsibilities

• Support a group of children as a key worker.
• Work as part of the Early Years Team to provide high‑quality learning experiences.
• Contribute to inclusive practice and safeguarding in a nursery setting.
