Job summary

The West Park Academy is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support learning in an early years class and to develop strong relationships with children and families. The role offers the opportunity to work across the primary age range and contribute to inclusive education.

The ideal candidate will hold full and relevant early years qualifications, have safeguarding checks, and demonstrate a clear commitment to inclusion and child-centred development.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant early years qualifications from the UK government list.
• Satisfactory safeguarding checks.
• Knowledge of safeguarding guidance and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support children\'s learning in an early years class (F1), with scope to work across the primary age range
• Implement agreed behaviour management strategies consistently and effectively
• Build good relationships with children, parents and carers
• Promote inclusion and help improve outcomes for all children
