Early Years Teaching Assistant
Cannock

ABC Teachers are looking for Early Years Teaching Assistants for nurseries, pre-schools and reception classes in and around the Cannock area.

About the role

You will be able to have the opportunity to assist in lesson learning and occasionally lead activities to help the nursery teacher, which will also include a range of support options in large groups, intervention groups and on a 1:1 basis. This allows the chance to gain valuable new experiences in an early years setting.

ABC Teachers works in partnership with primary schools and nurseries within Cannock and surrounding areas.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Early Years Teaching Assistant - Cannock you will:

• Experience with Nursery and EYFS students which we can obtain a reference for.
• Be able to communicate well with younger children.
• Have a DBS that is registered on the update service or be able to arrange one.
• Be able to secure a minimum of 2 professional references.
• Be able to form meaningful working relationships with both staff and students.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• At least 2 weeks relevant experience of being a childcare background on a voluntary or paid basis, as well as holding a level 3 qualification in childcare.
