Job summary

All Saints’ School in Wales is seeking an All Saints - Nursery/Early Years Teaching Assistant Apprentice. You will work full-time during term time, 30 hours per week, in a Primary setting with Nursery and Early Years pupils.

The role offers on‑the‑job and off‑the‑job training, with a focus on literacy, numeracy and SEN support. The apprentice level NVQ qualifications are included, and the school emphasises a caring, Christian ethos and Welsh language development.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at minimum level required.
• On-the-job training within a school setting will be provided.
• Experience with SEN and supporting pupils is desirable.
• Ability to work as part of a teaching team and follow school policies.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills and ICT competency.

Responsibilities

• Work full-time in a primary school as a Teaching Assistant.
• Support pupils with numeracy, literacy, ICT and digital skills.
• Assist creative and play-to-learn activities.
• Provide 1-1 support for pupils with additional learning needs.
• Help prepare displays and resources for lessons.
• Support teachers in various classroom roles and maintain professionalism.
• Follow safeguarding and behaviour policies.
