Job Title: Early Years Teaching Assistant

Contract: Temporary

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant in the Camborne area. We aim to place someone in an early years setting that is exciting, caring, affectionate, and gentle. The children arrive eagerly each day, full of excitement, and their families are delighted with how smoothly the setting is run.

Requirements:

• GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
• Experience working with children in an early years setting
• Knowledge of child development
• Understanding of the EYFS
• Ability to assist the teacher with classroom activities
• Basic first aid certification

Responsibilities:

• Good communication skills
• Assist the teacher in lesson and activity planning
• Observe children and report concerns to the teacher
• Support in preparing, maintaining, and organizing the learning environment
