Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in South Shields, starting in September on a long-term basis. The role is offered on a temporary basis with potential for permanency.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children in Early Years, nursery, or school setting.

• Understanding of safeguarding and creating inclusive learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development through engaging activities and daily routines.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children.
• Assist with personal care, communication, and emotional wellbeing while promoting independence.
• Work with Early Years team to observe progress, support individual needs, and contribute to planning activities.
