Northyorks is seeking an outstanding Teaching Assistant to join Athelstan CP School in Leeds. The role covers 30 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 8:30am–3pm) within the Early Years unit, across EYFS classrooms, supporting children including those with SEND.

You will work closely with the Early Years Team, contributing to an inclusive ethos, and benefit from a supportive environment, ongoing CPD, and access to staff facilities.

Qualifikationen

• Level 3 child care qualification is required.
• Experience with early years and SEND support is desirable.
• Sound understanding of safeguarding procedures.

We require an outstanding and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our hard-working team in our busy 'outstanding' Early Years unit. The post is 30 hours per week, working across the EYFS classrooms under the direction of the class teachers. The post will involve supporting all children across the early years, this may include supporting some children with SEND. Athelstan School is a friendly, warm and welcoming school, there is a strong family and inclusive ethos, where teamwork is highly valued and the role of the individual within the team is respected.

Candidates should be committed to following a creative, child centred approach to teaching and learning and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You would work alongside an established motivated and supportive Early Years Team, led by our Early Years Manager.
