Job summary

Northyorks is seeking an outstanding Teaching Assistant to join Athelstan CP School in Leeds. The role covers 30 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 8:30am–3pm) within the Early Years unit, across EYFS classrooms, supporting children including those with SEND.

You will work closely with the Early Years Team, contributing to an inclusive ethos, and benefit from a supportive environment, ongoing CPD, and access to staff facilities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 child care qualification is required.
• Experience with early years and SEND support is desirable.
• Sound understanding of safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support children across the early years (EYFS) in the classrooms.
• Work with the Early Years Team led by the Early Years Manager.
• Assist some children with SEND as needed.
