Job summary

Eatock Primary School in Bolton is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 3 on a fixed-term contract from January 2027 to January 2028, working 32.5 hours during term time to support our Early Years team. The successful candidate will help with children's learning, development and wellbeing, build positive relationships with families and staff, and may receive training for Early Years qualifications.

Salary: Grade E scp 11-17 £21,351 - £23,536 per annum (actual)

Start Date: Monday 4th January 2027

Hours: 32.5 hours (Term Time Only)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 3 to work within our Early Years team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing, helping them to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and stimulating environment. An Early Years qualification would be desirable; however, training can be provided for the right candidate.

We require a teaching assistant who:

• Previous experience of working as part of an Early Years team in a school environment would be advantageous.
• Can build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Demonstrates initiative and flexibility in a busy school environment.
• Has good literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
• Has high expectations for achievement and behaviour.
