Teaching Personnel is recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Droylsden. You will support Early Years and Reception, provide one-to-one and small group help, and assist pupils with SEN to access the curriculum.

The role focuses on nurturing academic, social and emotional development in a caring, inclusive environment. The ideal candidate will have EYFS experience, SEN involvement, patience, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly within EYFS.
  • Experience supporting children with SEN in either an educational or care-based setting.
  • Be patient, caring and committed to helping children reach their full potential.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
  • Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.

Job description

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Droylsden is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis for the full academic year.

This rewarding opportunity involves supporting pupils across Early Years and Reception, alongside providing tailored support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a positive learning environment and supporting children's academic, social and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities
