Qualifications

• Hold either Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS), or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years Qualification.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both colleagues and parents.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps all children to develop and meet their individual needs.
• Make accurate and effective assessments reflecting each child’s needs, interests and stages.
• Ensure indoor and outdoor environments are stimulating and inspiring for children.
