TeacherActive is seeking an adaptable Early Years Assistant to support nurseries in Taunton. You will help create a safe, engaging learning environment where children can grow through play and exploration.

The role is flexible, part‑time, day‑to‑day and short‑term, across all Early Years rooms. A nurturing, empathetic approach and the ability to adapt quickly are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an Early Years/nursery setting.
• Paediatric First Aid qualification is desirable but not essential.

The successful Early Years Assistant will work within welcoming nursery environments, helping to create a safe, positive and engaging setting where children can learn, play and develop.

We are looking for an Early Years Assistant for flexible, part‑time, day‑to‑day and short‑term work, supporting children across all Early Years age groups. The Early Years Assistant will be expected to adapt confidently between rooms, support children's learning and development, and provide an empathetic and nurturing approach throughout the day.

The successful Early Years Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children within an Early Years or nursery setting
• Paediatric First Aid qualification is desirable but not essential
• The ability to work flexibly across different Early Years rooms and age groups
• A caring and empathetic approach
• A flexible and adaptable attitude
