Job description

Staff Match is recruiting on behalf of a lovely nursery in Warwick, Warwickshire, and is looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join their setting. The successful candidate will be passionate about Early Years, creative, organised, and have prior experience as an Early Years Teacher, although NQTs will be considered.

Person Specification:

• Have QTS or QTLS with a PGCE, BA Early Childhood Studies, or equivalent
• Experience of planning EYFS curriculum in an Early Years setting
• Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)

Responsibilities for the Early Years Teacher include:

• Ensuring implementation of the EYFS curriculum and meeting Ofsted welfare requirements
• Leading the team and supporting planning and reflective practice
• Maintaining high standards of care and ensuring staff adhere to nursery policies and procedures
• Assisting the nursery manager and implementing pedagogical plans
• Maintaining children's observation, assessment, and development records
• Being highly self-motivated and able to motivate children and staff
• Supporting and developing the management of quality practice across the setting
• Working in partnership with parents to form caring and trusting relationships
• Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times
• Working 40 hours per week
