Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking an Early Years Teacher in Hull to begin on 2 November 2026. You will deliver play-based, EYFS-aligned learning, monitor development and create a nurturing classroom where children explore and grow.

The role offers daily rates from £160 to £262, with PAYE processing, and access to CPD and consultant support to assist with onboarding and ongoing professional progression.

Qualifications

• QTS or ECTs welcomed; EYFS experience.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Ability to provide engaging, play-based learning.
• Excellent classroom management and communication.
• Patient, nurturing approach to children's development.

Responsibilities

Salary: £160 - £261.78 per day

The school is looking to appoint an Early Years Teacher on a long-term basis from 2nd November 2026. The successful Early Years Teacher will deliver engaging learning opportunities in line with the EYFS framework, monitor children's development and create a stimulating classroom environment that supports both academic and personal progress.

Qualifications

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching within an Early Years / EYFS setting
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework
• The ability to provide engaging, play-based learning opportunities
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A patient, nurturing and enthusiastic approach to children's development
