Job summary

TeacherActive is working with an OFSTED rated 'Outstanding' mainstream Primary School in Altrincham. They are looking for an Early Years Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from October to lead a Nursery class, planning and delivering engaging EYFS learning opportunities while supporting children's development in a safe, nurturing environment.

The role requires QTS (ECTs welcome) with strong EYFS knowledge.

Qualifications

• QTS (ECTs welcome to apply).
• Experience teaching within an Early Years / EYFS setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management.
• A nurturing and engaging approach to teaching.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging EYFS learning opportunities for a Nursery class.
• Support children's development and maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
• Adapt activities to meet the needs of diverse learners and ensure high standards of pupil progress.

Start Date: October

Salary: £170 - £250 per day

The school is looking to take on an Early Years Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from October. The successful Early Years Teacher will be responsible for a Nursery class, planning and delivering engaging EYFS learning opportunities while supporting children's development and maintaining a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
