Job summary

Bishop's Primary School in Ashington, Northumberland, invites an enthusiastic Early Years Teacher for a 1-year fixed-term contract (FTC) to start 4 January 2027. The role focuses on delivering a broad EYFS curriculum, fostering curiosity, independence and strong relationships with children and families within a supportive team.

You will join a collaborative team, contribute to safeguarding, and support the Deputy/Director of Early Years in curriculum development and assessment under Trust

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Implement a broad, balanced EYFS curriculum in line with school policies.

  • Collaborate with EYFS team on curriculum, teaching materials and assessment.
  • Support safeguarding responsibilities.
  • Develop the EYFS team with the Director of Early Years.
