Job summary

St James (Daisy Hill) CE Primary School in Bolton is seeking a compassionate Teaching Assistant to support our Nursery (3-4 year olds) within the Early Years Foundation Stage. You will assist planned activities, monitor development and work closely with the Class Teacher to support learning inside and outside the classroom.

Applicants should hold a TA Level 2 and/or Early Years qualification, with a positive attitude and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and use your own initiative.
• Confidence following guidance from the Class Teacher and supporting learning inside and outside the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Support children in Nursery (3-4 years) within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Assist with planned learning activities and monitor development.
• Work with the Class Teacher to support learning both inside and outside the classroom.
