Happy Days Nurseries in Thornbury, United Kingdom, is seeking an Early Years Supervisor to lead a room team, deliver high-quality care and education, and support children’s development within the EYFS framework.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory experience within an Early Years setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding, and childcare legislation.
• Paediatric First Aid and Level 2 Safeguarding (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• A proactive, team-focused approach with a genuine passion for developing children and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a room team to deliver outstanding care and education.
• Deliver engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS.
• Support children’s individual development, wellbeing, and progress.
• Build strong relationships with families, colleagues, and external agencies.
• Monitor planning, assessments, and room standards to ensure quality outcomes.
• Coach, mentor, and develop colleagues through inductions, supervisions, and day-to-day support.
• Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance standards are consistently maintained.

As an Early Years Supervisor, you’ll lead, motivate, and support your room team to deliver high-quality care and education in a safe, stimulating environment. You’ll build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues while ensuring excellent standards of safeguarding, learning, and wellbeing are consistently maintained.
