Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join the Early Language team. The role covers assessment, diagnosis, prognosis, and intervention for children under five with language and speech needs in community and health settings across Tower Hamlets.

You will work with parents and families, providing supervision to junior SLTs and bilingual co-workers, and engage in ongoing service development within a supportive NHS environment.

Responsibilities

• Autonomous practitioner responsible for assessments, diagnosis and intervention for under-5s with speech and language needs.
• Provide supervision and day-to-day guidance to bilingual SLT co-workers.
• Deliver services across community settings including children and family centres, nurseries/schools, clinics, homes and Tower Hamlets venues.
