Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join the Early Language Team. You will work with under-5s in community settings such as family centres, nurseries, clinics and homes across Tower Hamlets.

The role offers a graduated offer of universal, targeted and specialist support with supervision and ongoing in-house training. The post is based at Mile End Hospital and involves collaboration with bilingual co-workers and multi-disciplinary teams to support language, speech

Qualifications

• Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
• Registered with RCSLT and HCPC.
• Experience with paediatric communication disorders.

Responsibilities

• Autonomous assessment, diagnosis, prognosis and intervention for under-5s.
• Supervise junior SLTs and bilingual co-workers as needed.
• Deliver universal, targeted and specialist support within Early Language Team.
