Job summary

St. Paul’s C of E Primary School in Leamington Spa is seeking a TA2 Teaching Assistant to support learning across the curriculum. The post is full-time, 26.25 hours per week during term time, and permanent with a salary band F (£16,569–£17,660).

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with additional needs desirable.
• Supports teaching and pastoral needs of pupils.
• Works with class teacher to deliver curriculum; supports groups, individuals and sometimes whole class.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering the curriculum alongside the class teacher.
• Support groups, individual pupils and occasionally the whole class.
• Provide pastoral and behavioural support as part of a caring, inclusive environment.

The Governors wish to appoint a TA2 Teaching Assistant, with a suitable qualification, experience or both. This role is to work alongside the class teacher in supporting and delivering the curriculum. Your role will involve supporting groups, individual pupils and on occasions the whole class. We are a very inclusive school, so experience of working with children with additional needs is desirable.
