Job description

Early Years SEN Teacher required for a Specialist School in Surrey.

TLTP is recruiting an SEN Teacher to teach students with learning difficulties at a specialist school in Surrey.

This role involves teaching entry level/functional skills levels 1 & 2 and low-level learners across two sites.

The specialist school caters to students aged 2-19 with complex needs, including MLD/SLD/PMLD, ASD, and additional needs. Located in Wallington, it provides education for a range of SEN needs.

Requirements:

• QTS qualification and some SEN experience preferred.
• The teacher will be responsible for the progress of all pupils in their subject area.
• Coordinate the work of SEN TAs and provide direct teaching to meet class and pupil needs.
• Adopt a holistic approach, using social care and teaching strategies to ensure pupil safety, well-being, and engagement.
• Deliver creative, pupil-focused lessons according to the timetable.
• Provide opportunities for pupils to experience and understand English in various contexts.
