Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking an Early Years Practitioner in Kingston Upon Thames for a part-time, year‑round role in a welcoming independent school. The position offers support for professional development and a beautiful campus environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Level 3 EYFS qualification, has experience with children aged 2–5, and is committed to safeguarding. Free on-site parking and lunch are provided.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 EYFS qualification.
• Experience working with children aged 2-5 in an early years setting.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework is essential.
• Caring approach with commitment to safeguarding.

Responsabilités

• Plan fun, play-based activities in line with EYFS.
• Support personal care and encourage independence.
• Track children's progress through observations and learning records.
• Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
• Build positive relationships with parents and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll help create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive by:

• Planning fun, play‑based activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Supporting personal care and encouraging independence
• Tracking children’s progress through observations and learning records
• Following safeguarding and health and safety procedures
• Building positive relationships with parents and colleagues

What we’re looking for

You’ll need:
