Job summary

Bright Horizons Putney Day Nursery and Preschool in London is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for a part-time role (2/3 days) at our Putney setting. You will plan, deliver and reflect on activities to support each child’s development and a love of learning.

Nursery – Bright Horizons Putney Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary – Starting from £31,158.40 per annum (Full-time equivalent - Pro-rata’d) (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our Putney Day Nursery and Preschool. Our nursery is situated in Putney, with great transport links- just a 5 minute walk from several stations and within close proximity of Roehampton, Barnes, Wandsworth and Wimbledon! This role is for P/T, working 2/3 full days.

Our 62-place nursery is proudly Ofsted rated ‘Good’. The nursery features beautifully designed, bright and engaging rooms and our nursery also offers a fabulous adventure garden for our children to explore and enhance their learning!

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What we’re looking for

• Full and relevant Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
