Job summary

Academics are recruiting for an Early Years Practitioner in Bishop Stortford to join a welcoming school community. You will provide attentive care, support and supervision to young children, helping to deliver a stimulating and safe learning environment.

The role offers a full-time contract with a salary in the £95–£105 per day range, depending on experience, and opportunities for professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification desirable, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent care, support and supervision to children.
• Support the implementation of all operational policies and procedures.
• Help deliver inspiring and ambitious practice that supports children's development.
• Follow all Health & Safety policies and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring relevant documentation is completed.
• Maintain accurate records of children's development and update these regularly.
• Be alert to safeguarding concerns and ensure the welfare and safety of all children at all times.
