Job summary

Academics are recruiting for an Early Years Practitioner to join a school in Bishop Stortford. The role offers full-time hours with a salary of £95–£105 per day, dependent on experience.

The successful candidate will provide care and support to children, assist in safeguarding, and help create a positive and developmental learning environment. Level 2/3 Early Years qualification is desirable, but not essential.

Qualifications

• Provide high-quality care and supervision to children.
• Comply with health & safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of children's development.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent care, support and supervision to children.
• Support the implementation of all operational policies and procedures.
• Help deliver inspiring and ambitious practice that supports children’s development.
• Follow all Health & Safety policies and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring relevant documentation is completed.
• Maintain accurate records of children’s development and update these regularly.
• Be alert to safeguarding concerns and ensure the welfare and safety of all children at all times.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification desirable, but not essential
