Job summary

Academics in Hertford is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly school team. You will provide care, support and supervision to children, helping deliver ambitious practice that supports their development and wellbeing.

Location: Hertford. Salary: £95-£105 per day depending on experience. Contract: Full-time. The successful candidate will follow health and safety policies, maintain records, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification desirable, but not essential.

• Provide excellent care, support and supervision to children.
• Support the implementation of all operational policies and procedures.
• Help deliver inspiring and ambitious practice that supports children's development.
• Follow all Health & Safety policies and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring relevant documentation is completed.
• Maintain accurate records of children's development and update these regularly.
• Be alert to safeguarding concerns and ensure the welfare and safety of all children at all times.
