Job summary

Archbishop Wake Nursery, part of Archbishop Wake CE Primary School, is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join a nurturing team caring for children aged 0-4. The role is 37 hours per week, rota across 8am-6pm, with 52 weeks and 26-31 days holiday.

We offer professional learning opportunities and wellness support to help staff grow and thrive. Applicants should have Level 3 in Early Years, be patient, enthusiastic, and capable of using a computer to communicate with families.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 in Early Years and Childcare qualification required.
• Patient, enthusiastic, and able to work calmly with children aged 0-4.
• Willingness to learn and use technology to communicate with families.

Responsibilities

• Support learning through play, observation, and recording progress
• Work as part of a friendly team to provide a safe, caring environment
• Assist with routine childcare tasks and safeguarding procedures
