Job summary

Bright Horizons Potten End Day Nursery and Preschool in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to plan, deliver and review engaging activities tailored to each child. You will foster a safe, inclusive learning environment and support development toward key milestones.

The role requires a Level 3 Early Years qualification, strong EYFS knowledge, safeguarding awareness, and the ability to build strong partnerships with colleagues and parents. DBS checks will be completed.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection requirements.
• Ability to build trusting partnerships with colleagues and parents.

Job description

Nursery – Bright Horizons Potten End Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary – Starting from £12.45 (Level 2), £12.94 (Level 3) per hour (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Location- Hemel Hempstead, HP1

Hours- Monday to Friday 11am- 3pm or similar hours

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What we’re looking for

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
