Job summary

Bright Horizons Dandelions Day Nursery and Preschool in Andover is seeking an Early Years Practitioner. The role is 24 hours, spread over 3 full days, with a starting rate of £13.50 per hour dependent on qualification and experience.

You will plan and deliver engaging activities, ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment, and work closely with parents and colleagues to support each child’s development.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3+ Early Years qualification and a passion for inclusive learning.
• Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding.
• Ability to build trust with colleagues and parents/carers.
• Commitment to providing engaging, development-focused activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities for key children.
• Provide a safe environment that supports expression and lifelong learning.

We’re looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our Dandelions Nursery. This role is for 24 hours, working over 3 full days.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What we’re looking for

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
