Job summary

TeacherActive is proudly recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in South East London, looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join their Early Years team! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and is passionate about creating a fun, safe and engaging learning environment.

You will support children’s development within EYFS, plan creative activities, encourage independence and work with teachers to provide high-quality care

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare/EY qualification (desirable).
• Experience in EYFS, nursery or primary setting.
• Solid understanding of the EYFS framework.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development within an Early Years setting.
• Plan and deliver fun, creative and engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Encourage children's independence, confidence and social skills.
• Support pupils with a range of learning abilities and additional needs.
• Work closely with class teachers and other practitioners to provide high-quality care and education.
• Help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
• Observe and monitor children's progress and development.

The Role

• Support children's learning and development within an Early Years setting.

What We're Looking For

• A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for helping young children learn, grow and thrive!
