Job summary

Spring Nurseries by Action for Children in Braintree, Essex is seeking a qualified Early Years Practitioner (Level 3) for a permanent, full-time role (40 hours per week) with a salary of c. £26,950 per annum.

You’ll plan and deliver engaging activities, build trusted relationships with children, and collaborate with families to provide high-quality care and learning. The setting offers 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, staff discounts, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

  • A Level 3 Early Years and Childcare qualification (NNEB, CACHE, NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of children’s development from 0-5 years and how this informs practice.
  • Experience planning and delivering engaging activities for individual needs.
  • Understanding of EYFS and how to support learning through play.
  • Awareness of SEND and inclusive support in early years settings.

Job title: Early Years Practitioner (qualified level 3)
Salary: c. £26,950 per annum
Location: Braintree, Essex
Contract/Hours: Permanent/Full Time – 40 hours per week

Let’stalk about you

You’ll be a qualified Level 3 early years practitioner who is passionate about helping young children to learn, develop and feel confident. You'll understand the needs of children aged 0-5, be confident working within the EYFS, and bring a caring inclusive approach to supporting every child.

  • A Level 3 Early Years and Childcare qualification (NNEB, CACHE, NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent)
  • Knowledge and understanding of children's development from 0-5 years and how this informs your practice.
  • Experience of planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that meet individual needs and developmental stages.
  • An understanding of the EYFS and how to support children's learning and development through play.
  • An awareness of SEND and how to provide inclusive support within an early year’s setting.

About the Service

Spring Seesaw is the 49-place nursery for children aged 0 months to five years, also Offering breakfast, after school and holiday clubs.

The nursery is spacious, has beautiful secure outdoor play areas and an established core team, providing plenty of space for children to learn, explore and play.
