Lime Tree Nursery in Barnsley is seeking Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to join our Curiosity Cottage Nursery at Athersley. We champion The Curiosity Approach and foster warm, home-from-home environments for children aged 0–5.

You’ll lead engaging EYFS activities, create stimulating indoor and outdoor spaces, observe development, and build strong partnerships with parents. This is a chance to contribute to a growing, family-run group that values safeguarding and creative teaching.

As a family-run group with nine nurseries across Rotherham, Barnsley, Sheffield and North Nottinghamshire, we create warm, home-from-home environments where children aged 0–5 can explore, question and thrive.

Inspired by The Curiosity Approach, we champion child-led learning, natural resources and meaningful play experiences that spark creativity and build confident, independent learners.

Now, we’re looking for passionate Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to join our growing team at our recently rebranded nursery, Curiosity Cottage Nursery at Athersley.

At the Curiosity Cottage, no two days are the same, and that’s exactly how we like it!

What We’re Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Early Years – essential
• Experience in an Early Years setting
• Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding requirements
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive, creative and child-centred mindset
• Someone who genuinely loves inspiring young minds
