Caring Kindergartens Ltd is seeking a Level 3 qualified childcare worker in Peterborough to join a nurturing nursery team. You will observe and support children’s progress, plan engaging activities and work as part of a supportive staff group.

Excellent English, safeguarding knowledge and DBS clearance are required. This role offers opportunities for professional development within a caring, family-like culture.

Formación

• Level 3 childcare qualification recognised by the Department for Education.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Good safeguarding practices knowledge.
• Previous childcare experience in an early year setting.
• Cleared DBS check.
• Ability to extend children’s learning through high quality experiences.
• Ability to manage a group of key children.
• Good communication with both adults and children.
• Commitment to reflective practice and self-development.

Responsabilidades

• Work as part of a team and act as key worker for a group of children.
• Observe, record and assess children's progress and development through observations and photographic evidence.
• Develop high quality interactions with children and extend their thinking and learning.
• Plan, prepare and deliver a wide range of play experiences that promote development.
• Ensure activities are drawn from children's next steps, observations and EYFS interests.
• Support each child in developing self-esteem and confidence.
• Provide a positive model of behaviour with families and colleagues.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current issues and practices through training.
• Adhere to hygiene standards per Caring Kindergartens policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive nursery team.
