Job summary

TimePlan Education is seeking a qualified nursery practitioner to join friendly teams in Peterborough. You will provide high-quality care and education for young children, ensuring EYFS-aligned activities and safeguarding standards are followed.

The role requires Level 2/3 EYFS qualification, strong communication, and a passion for supporting children’s learning and development in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Qualification or equivalent.
• Understanding of EYFS framework.
• Experience in an early years setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding care and education in line with EYFS.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities to support learning.
• Observe, assess and record children's progress.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Act as a key person for a group of children.
• Promote wellbeing, safety and individual needs.
• Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
• Support the nursery's vision and values.
