Job summary

Bright Horizons Wimbledon Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join the Wimbledon Nursery in the Baby Room, delivering planned activities that support each child’s development and ensuring a warm, safe learning environment.

You will collaborate with a dedicated team, uphold HEART values, and engage with families to support high-quality care. A Level 2/3 EYFS qualification is required, along with strong teamwork and safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to each child to support milestones.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment that allows children to express themselves and develop a love of learning.
