Job summary

Fife Council’s Education Directorate seeks a highly skilled early years practitioner to promote children’s learning, development and welfare within a nursery setting at Newburgh Primary School. The role emphasises inclusion, diversity and equality, with collaboration across stakeholders to support positive outcomes for all children.

You will hold one of the listed practitioner qualifications, complete PVG and SSSC registrations within six months, and work 25 hours per week Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• Holds one of the listed practitioner level qualifications.
• PVG scheme membership via Disclosure Scotland is required.
• SSSC registration at practitioner level within 6 months of employment.
• Knowledge of Curriculum for Excellence and early years development from birth to 5 years.
