Job summary

Qualifications

  • Holds practitioner level qualifications (or equivalent).
  • PVG scheme membership is required before appointment.
  • SSSC registration at practitioner level within 6 months of starting.
  • Post-registration training and learning (PRTL) during the registration period.
  • Working knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence and related frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Promote children's learning, development and welfare in a nursery setting.
  • Support inclusion, diversity and equality and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to wider development within the nursery and team.
